Ten day business trip stay in Gmunden during February 2023 - Excellent small hotel, outstanding hospitality, delicious food and very comfortable euro style room (I stayed in the old part of the building). Super convenient to walk into the center of the town. I can truly recommend this hotel to all. I will be returning again in September and this time bringing four more colleagues with me for further business meetings in the area.
Very happy with everything! Extremely kind and welcoming host, exceptional breakfast, spacious room. We had also a very nice dinner there. Looking forward to come back again!
Amazing loft apartment, with a nice view and a gym and a sauna on the same floor.
In our room there were lovely local and eco friendly bottles with lotion, soaps and hair conditioner with a beautiful fragrance.

The best breakfast with loads of variety of foods like fresh fruits, veggies and berries. Delicious pastries, sweet and savoury, croissants, rolls even banana bread.
Located near the city centre and right next to a beautiful art gallery.
Interior design was breathtaking, combining modern and also antique timeless items.
Not so far a huge lake with crystal clear water, great for swimming or taking a panoramatic view by the ferry.

We had a fantastic stay at Zum Goldenen Hirschen! The staff was very friendly, service excellent, and food delicious. My new go-to hotel in Gmunden!
Best place ever. The owners are absolutely amazing people who care so much about their place, costumers and most importantly - their food. The only stuff are the couple who are managing the place and their 2 young boys helping now and then. I've had an amazing time with them and the atmosphere was super nice. Highly recommended if you're around for their limited opening hours.
